By the end of the summer, the garden has provided so much produce that we are overrun. We can as much as we are able, and the sight of those mason jars full of delectable summer goodness gives me such a warm feeling. I can’t put to words the feeling it gives you to put by your own store of food. It means I am not depending on someone else to have food available if it becomes necessary for me to get it. This property is slowly revealing its' secrets to us as we get to know it better. Every year, something new will come to light that we hadn't seen before. The year 2016 is upon us, and Spring has arrived in the mountains. Leaves and buds are slowly emerging and everything is coming alive.
